Farrow lets our people go

Jane Farrow is awesome.  In fact, she is not just awesome but capital-V Vital.  And she will be hosting our #voteTOin416 event on Feb. 11, at which speakers will present some of the best ideas for this city’s future in 4-minute-and-16-second bursts!

A writer, broadcaster and organizer, Farrow was formerly a CBC Radio One producer and host and is currently the director of (the coincidentally named) Jane’s Walk: series of free neighbourhood walking tours throughout Canada and the US that take place each spring with the goal of connecting people to their environment and each other, in order to honour the legacy of late urban activist Jane Jacobs.

Having been involved in creating change from several angles, Farrow has singular insight into what it means to be an effective advocate for new ideas.  We are thrilled to have her on board.

One comment.

  1. That’s the stupidest idea since Communism. CBC personalities know nothing about what real people think or want.

The environment is a sham of an issue. Real people care about jobs. Let hypocrites like Al Gore and David Suzuki bore each other to death about the environment at let real people get along with living their lives and earning enough money to pay their outrageous taxes so there’s something left at the end of the day to hopefully, someday not be a burden on their children.

Thanks David Miller for ruining a once great city.
